| With the transformation of China Netcom to be a "broadband communication and multimedia service provider", the past vertical business platform and development mode can no longer meet its business expanding requirements. Netcom is demanded to accelerate the concordance of its existing platforms to build the next generation CP (Content Provider) /SP (Service Provider) integrated business management platform (hereinafter referred to, for short, as "CP/SP") .CSP integrated business management platform is a carrier-oriented full-service support sharing platform that centralized and uniformly manages the business management and business integration related common functions extracted from the vertical business platform. The CSP platform supports the generic management, control and access of various types of business in cross domain networks (including fixed-line, mobile, broadband and the Internet, etc.) The platform interacts with each single participant along the telecommunication business value chain, composed of carrier, service provider, content provider and end-user, and collaborative other business supporting systems (including BSS/OSS system, prepaid platform, and etc.). Business management, functions of authentication, authorization and accounting, integration of related value-added business, and the access of application platform can all be accomplished uniformly by the CSP integrated business platform.This paper analyses the status of Beijing Netcom business platform, based on which the establishment of horizontal structured CSP integrated business platform is proposed. An in-depth research on technology architecture, data model and business processes has been conducted and presented, followed by its realization plan. The first phase of CP/SP integrated business management platform, referred to the proposed architecture, has been adopted by software and hardware testing. The objectives of this platform design have been achieved. |
