At present, Unicom’s value-addedservice network management scope includes all the value-added service system,network access facilities that help the value added service system access to the IPbearing support system and the supporting system of value-added system.Establishment of the Unicom value-added service system is aimed to against ChinaMobile’s value-added service business; it would be a centralized monitoringmanagement system, monitoring operation performance, alarm, configuration statusfor all the value-added service systems. It enforces the centralized collection,collation and analysis of business data; improves the operation maintenance personnelability on the network maintenance efficiency; increases the user’s satisfaction ofChina Unicom network, and is helpful to enhance the effectiveness of Unicombusiness promotion behavior.The thesis is mainly based on the actual work of the project, and is in strictaccordance with value-added service network management system technicalspecifications China Unicom headquarters issued, combining with the actual situationof value-added network management construction in Ningxia Unicom, relating tosystem structure and the corresponding interface program. At the same time, makingresearch analysis and demand listing for the main business platform includes shortmessage center, interworking gateway, message gateway, SP management system,and WAP system, etc., taking survey on actual situation in machine room, confirmingthe server installation location, wiring and power supply scheme, thereby ensures the hardware devices work stably at the production site.Here came into the project implementation stage on the basis of abovepreparation: all the related software and hardware equipment need to installationdebugging, including the host and network equipment. Proceeding system accessdebugging for each service platform related to Ningxia Unicom value-added services,at the same time deploying application software to network management system, andinputting the relevant data, after the internal system debugging, the value-addednetwork management system could be officially launched to use, finally through thevalue-added network management system integration testing and user training,completing the project acceptance, thus finishing the life cycle of Ningxia Unicomvalue-added service integrated network management project.The first chapter is the introduction part, introduces the Unicom value-addednetwork management background, analysis of the current status of value-addednetwork, the value-added network management range, management structure andmanagement functions of the analysis, finally puts forward the construction goalsystem.The second chapter is project startup and setup phase mainly focuses on thestructure of the system, including description on system function structure, softwarestructure and physical structure of headquarters and two provincial level networkmanagement departments, and makes research and definition for each data interfacemode. Finally, makes the overall project goals and plans according to the projectsetup, identifies the project risk and devises and project schedule.The next third chapters are about project design in detail, according to the actualsituation on site, detailed design corresponding to each of the network, computercabinet and power supply as well as the host system and database etc.The fourth chapter is about the project implementation process, detailed describethe deployment system main function modules, after the final user training and aftersystem acceptance, the project comes to completion stage.The last chapter raises the specific proposals for the main value-added service ofNingxia Unicom network management system maintenance and technical support,and provides corresponding improvement solutions for the deficiency of the system function. Finally, makes a summary according to experience and lessons got fromproject implementation process, and gets a conclusion.
