The Research Of Express Way Assets Maintenance Evaluation Management System Based On SVG And WebGIS

In recent years, express way has a rapid development, but by the thought of "attention on construction not on maintenance", as well as the low efficiency of traditional manpower maintenance management methods to the mega-road net, the road assets maintenance management work has lagged behind, seriously influencing the normal operation of the express way. Therefore, how to realize the informational management no the maintenance of express way has been a hot research point at home and abroad. With the coming of Internet Age, the technology of WebGIS has showed tremendous potential to the mega-scale assets management work, lifted the level of informational management to a new standard.The paper put forward a proposal which used WebGIS in maintenance and evaluation management system of express way assets, based on the research of current situation and problems in express way assets maintenance management. The technology of WebGIS based on java language, with the comparison and analysis to the realizing technology of WebGIS., has finally used to complete the design of the system.But the traditional GIS map has some deficiencies and disadvantages in the application of B/S. After sufficient researching on the feasibility realizing methods, advantages and disadvantages of using SVG marked language to be the map bit of the WebGIS application, it has been found that it is more suitable by using SVG to be map bit in B/S design mode. So the paper adopted SVG marked language to be the map bit document of the system.At present most express way assets maintenance evaluation management work has designed for the road pavement layer, which is just one of the important elements in the express way assets. Basing on a large of literatures for express way assets maintenance regulation and technology, the paper classified express way into four layers: pavement layer, sub-grade layer, bridge and tunnel layer and traffic-facility layer, according to the four express way assets evaluation indexes PQI, SCI, BCI and TCI. According to the relative maintenance regulation, the four indexes abstracted data modal and service modal for processing data in every layer, in order to make all express way assets to be covered with the system processing objects.In this paper, SVG document embedded in the Java Script language in order to achieve the operating functions of GIS maps . And evaluate the business processing functions by making BCI module as an example. This process of users verified the feasibility of the design.
