Research On Discipline Information Resources Knowledge Organization Based On Topic-Map

With the continuous deepening of the digital information resources, in order to adapt to the needs of digital resources index, Topic Maps came into being and keep continuous development under the guidance of Topic Maps.Org. Topic Maps is defined as a set of methods used to organize information by ISO/IEC 13250, they can provide the best information navigation. Topic Maps are a new technology integrated with wide range of technologies. As a complex metadata, a digital knowledge organization method, an intelligent knowledge index way, a modeling knowledge representation and navigation technology, a flexible distributed resources link technology, Topic Maps has aroused more and more attention and reflection by scholars at home and abroad. That how to optimize discipline information resources organization and navigation also becomes hot problems by scholars at home and abroad.The research objectives of this thesis is that, by soft analysis method, combined with the characteristics of discipline information organization, proposing discipline information organization model based on Topic Maps, and designing a model for discipline resource knowledge organization, in order to achieve proper classification, organization, storage, sharing and integration, to provide a more perfect discipline knowledge organization system. The knowledge organization system can overcome the disadvantages of the current discipline knowledge organization, which include single information source, interoperability difficult, the active relation among knowledge point show little, lack of visualization function, not fully adequate personalized service and so on, it is able to meet the user's personalized demand of retrieval information from classification and subject aspects, browsing the location of knowledges, understanding the logical relation between knowledge points, browsing visual knowledge structure map, knowledge sharing and so on.In this paper, firstly, the related knowledge about discipline information resources are summarized, and then the author systematically expounds the approach of Topic Maps-based discipline information resources knowledge organization, and then built a model of discipline knowledge organization, and finally take "information retrieval" subject knowledge for example, tests and verifies the model in this paper. The core work of this paper mainly comprise building discipline knowledge organization model, modeling method and model examples. The model in the paper consists of discipline topic database modules, the discipline resource library module and topic map generation module. The built of discipline topic database focus on ontology building methods and topic map tools; Software analysis approach which focus on text clustering algorithm is used in discipline resource library; topic map generation module comprise information indexing method by hand, XTM markup language indexing method and topic map tools indexing method.
