A Temperature Monitoring System Based On WSN

In recent years,with the rapid development of wireless communication technology and sensor technology,wireless sensor network(WSN)has been more widely used,especially in areas such as environmental monitoring,intelligent home and industrial control.The temperature monitoring system based on wireless sensor network is used for remote monitoring indoor heating situation in winter and adjusting the operating parameters of heating boiler timely,so it can achieve the purposes of energy-saving and reducing emissions.Various protocols and support technologies of the construction of a wireless sensor network system are introduced in this paper.Application scene of the data gathering network is analyzed and a typical tiered network model is designed. The model is composed of three levels:the control center consisting of the PC and monitoring software;the main network consisting of the central control node and the sensor sub-network consisting of the routing node,the relay node and bottom sensor nodes.Through coordination of the above-mentioned various parts can complete the temperature data acquisition and monitoring tasks.The system includes three parts:WSN node hardware design,WSN management and monitoring software design.The node hardware circuit design mainly includes DS18B20 digital temperature sensor module,wireless communication module based on IA4421,power amplifier module which single-hop transmission distance can reach more than 1km,MCU module and serial communication module.WSN management includes the routing protocol that can choose the routing path adaptively,the data communication protocol with a strict checking format and the data encryption algorithm for wireless transmission.The routing path of WSN can be multi-hop,and the network topology can also be changed in accordance with environment needs.Monitoring software of wireless temperature acquisition system is used for collecting temperature data for analysis,processing,storage,and it also has many other fountions such as trend curve display,data listing display,alarm setting and so on.The temperature monitoring system based on WSN has been deployed in the logging company office in DaQing and running steadily.Real-time temperature collection and long-range monitoring of buildings were achieved by using the system.It proved that the routing protocol and node design are reasonable.The system was applied to allow managers to understand the boiler heating situation timely,provide the basis for boiler control,improve the lagging situation of boiler control and economize the energy,so it has a great promotion value.
