The Design & Implementation Of Universal Service Provisioning System In NG-BOSS

Nowadays, the telecommunication market has undergone tremendous changes, while increased competition and also brought great opportunities. Business Operation Support System, as the core business platform of a telecommunication enterprise, plays a decisive role in business development and market competition.On the basis of eTOM, China Mobile Communication Corporation introduces the absolutely New Generation-BOSS, that can cover the entire service and products, and has full-customized ability, with its own business processing and operating characteristics.This paper focus on the design and implementation of Service Provisioning System, one of the cores of NG-BOSS. Firstly, introduced the BOSS system status of those telecommunication enterprises briefly at home and abroad. Then, analyzed and listed all the lacks and disadvantages of the existing system, named '97 system, after that, introduced the important meaning and purpose of constructing NG-BOSS. At the end, according to the classic model of software engineering, discussed the implementation of SPS in detail from the following aspects: the requirement analysis, summary design, data-structure modeling, detailed design, coding and of course deployment.At present, the SPS has been launching and on operation well-functioning, and enhanced the quality of service and the competition of CMCC practically. That fully proved the success of the construction of SPS.
