With the development of modern society, the use of electric devices has grown rapidly,it leads to increasingly hidden danger and more and more fire accidents. Traditional electric fire monitoring systems, sensor nodes transfer collected data to the PC usually with wire, thus a large number of cables needed to layout. If the on-site environment is very complex and harsh, the use of monitoring system with cable transmission will be greatly restricted. In recent years,ZigBee wireless sensor network technology has get a rapid development with its feature of low power consumption, low cost, low rates and flexible networking, etc.,and is considered to have broad prospects for development and application in environmental monitoring and industrial control and many other areas.This paper has researched and developed one kind of protection device for Electric Fire Intelligent Monitoring System with function of environmental monitoring and current prevention,and uses ZigBee protocol for data transmission. In order to establish the system, TI's CC2530 is used as a control and communication module core, MAX232 serial communication interface is selected for the communication between coordinator and the host computer monitoring software,and DS18B20, SHT11 and TLV2464 are choosed for End-devices to excute the data collection which include environment feature of temperature, humidity and current. For the need of on-site application environment, this paper designs overall program based on ZigBee's Tree topology,the coordinator is responsible for establishing the network and uploading the data received from end-devices to PC monitoring software,the routers are retransmission and to expand the network,the function of the end-device is field data collection. According to different functional requirements of the network nodes, this paper respectively has completed the hardware design of circuit and PCB, and writed the application program.At last,this paper has designed PC monitoring software as real-time monitoring platform in centralized control room.The man-machine interface of the Electric Fire Intelligent Monitoring System is friendly.It integrates the current measurement and environment monitoring, uses ZigBee protocol for data transmission,and has the advantages of intelligent,low cost,convenient to be maintained and can be well transplanted.
