Forests as an important part of the Earth’s ecological environment, shouldered the soil and water conservation, windbreak and sand, air purification and other important mission. Forest fires in a short time can cause irreversible damage on a large area of forest and the surrounding ecological environment. How to protect forest resources and to prevent forest fire has become the focus of forestry protection department.We proposed a forest fire monitoring system combing Zigbee wireless network with the Beidou satellite communication network. Zigbee network node unified select SoC System on chip as the node’s radio frequency (RF) and data; processing unit; used record power function of the DS2770chip with the regulator chip power module unit as a node; and used JTAG interface to the burning process. Connect the coordinator node RS232interface to host computer,then the route and terminal node selected SHT10digital temperature and humidity sensor to collect the forest interior environment data.We proposed that the X-CMMBCR in forest fire monitoring system Zigbee network use energy efficient routing as algorithm. Modify RREP and the RREQ data packet frame structure in the existing AODV routing protocol source code, add a new definition of function, modify X the-CMMBCR routing protocol code when the node forwards the data packet in the project process. Z-Stack protocol stack platform design software process of the Zigbee network each node.environmental data collected by Zigbee network upload to the host computer the serial port Assistant software, sent it after compiling by Beidou terminal connected to the host computer to the outside world.In simulation conditions, the system uses the X-CMMBCR energy efficient routing algorithm compared with the original protocol of Zigbee routing algorithm, the results show that the system uses the X-CMMBCR algorithm can effectively reduce the energy consumption of network nodes to extend the network lifetime. We test Zigbee network networking, and environmental data collection and upload experiment in a lab environment.Complete of environmental data between the Beidou satellite terminals to send and receive data in the actual forest.The experimental results show that the forest environment temperature and humidity information can be fast and accurate one-way transmission between Zigbee network with Compass communication network, and it confirmed the practical feasibility of the system.The forest fire monitoring system can achieve low cost, high efficiency, high precision, all-weather access to the forest interior environmental information, and save a lot of manpower.It provide strong information protection for forest fire rescue work, and can promote the use in the field of forest fire monitoring.
