Design Of Monitoring System For Bearing's Temperature Based On ZigBee

The quality of the rolling bearings is directly related to the operation condition of the rolling mill.To solve the problems of beating's burning,roller's damage and explosion when beating is broken with a high temperature,the detection system for the bearing's temperature based on the ZigBee wireless technology is proposed in this paper.It can detect the temperature on real time and give the alarm when in abnormal condition.ZigBee,as a new technology,with the characteristics of low cost,low-power and low rate,has been used in more and more fields,such as military,industry,medical,etc.This is an excellent choice for the data transmission of bearing's temperature.The network topology is designed based on the development of the detection technology of bearing and ZigBee protocol.A network structure with the core of sensor node and coordinator node is constructed.The JN5139 module of Jennie company is used to designed the ZigBee wireless system and the software development is completed.The data acquisition module installed in the bearing block is designed in a low-power way both in the hardware and software.Control system,based on MCU ATmega8,can display the temperature set reference and give the alarm. In addition,the PC can be connected to establish a friendly interface for the data storage and query.The results reveal that it can work half a year safely and steadily without voltage shortage.At present,using the offline monitoring mode to detect temperature can not detect data online and is not enough accurate.As a new technology,the detection system for bearing's temperature based on ZigBee designed in this paper using the online monitoring mode can offset these insufficiencies and can monitor many beating's temperature accurately.
