In recent years,the new media development was very rapid, not only changed the dissemination mechanism which the mass media media formed since long, moreover to politics, the culture, the life and so on , many social stratification planes has had the profound influence. At present, in the educational world, different people have different views regarding the new media's definition, the author attempts to make the following definition in this paper to the new media: The new media, is one take the digital signal real-time transmission as the technology base, grafts between the traditional media and the information science and technology product's technology,take the interpersonal dissemination and community dissemination as the main dissemination form media group. Such a definition shows the same spot and the diversity between the new media and the traditional media.
