The Research And Implementation Of Mobile Agent In Grid Environment

With the combination of the Web service and Mobile Agent,new type of enterprise application will be according to the new criterion.Especially GT4,it is the typical grid service building suit,which can be used to build Enterprise Grid Service. The combination of the Web service and grid service is successful,But in Grid Environment,the Web condition which the Web service depends on is unstable and unpredictable.How can we build a relative stable Web service on an unstable Web environment? That is an urgent and very important problem we faced.The birth of Mobile Agent had made up for the shortcomings of the grid service very well.Mobile Agent's character that it can move from host to host makes it less depends on network transmission,save bandwidth,also reduce the system's network load.Enterprise information system which is based on Mobile Agent can not only improve the efficiency of data access,but also can reduce the number of connection. It also can realize cross-boundary,cross-platform,and high-performance distributed data processing systems.In this paper,firstly,we introduced the grid service technology.Secondly,we also described the architecture and characters of Mobile Agent.And then on the basis of two technologies,we proposed a simple model system.We also analysed its structure and workflow.Finally,we use chain supermarkets' data querying system as the background.In this system,we use GT4 to develop the grid service and Aglet to develop Mobile Agent respectively.We realized this system successfully,also displayed the result and analysed it.
