With the rapidd evelopment of digital techniques, image acquisition and processing are applied in more and more field, and image real-time processing becomes the research hotspot. The development of VLSI (Very Large Scale lntegation) supplies the hardware basis for digital image processing, FPGA is most suitable for real-time image processing.The design unchain the restriction of that high-resolution industrial camera must connect to PC to see the high-resolution images. As 1.3Mega colorful "1/2" CMOS image sensor, the paper reconstructs Bayer template CFA image to colorimage. The outputs of standard VGA signal, allows to watch the real video by directly connecting to VGA monitor and projector etc. Comparing with images captured by analog camera (740×576 resolution, 4801ine), the image equals to 1280×1024 resolution (750 line), max frame rate 25fps, gives a good video image. The research offers a perfect solution to watch high-resolution video images without PC.This Paper adopts the EP2C8Q208 of altera company as kernel device, choose CMOS image sensor module MT9M001 to be the CFA image inport-source, regards two pieces of SDRAM as frame buffer memory, designs VGA control module by the VGA principle and VGA standard , builds hardware development platform of FPGA.The evaluation of the image acquisition system shows that its performance reaches the requirements of the system, and it can work reliably with low power consumption.
