The Research Of Remote Smart House Controlling Based On GSM

In this paper, based on GSM short message, a remote and detecting system for smart home is developed, realizing the detecting of the home equipment and the state of home environment. In the design, AT89C51 micro-control system, wireless GSM short message, power line carrier wave modem Lonworks are used. The paper includes host control module and several sub function modules (alarm module and power line carrier wave modem)and system software and so on.In this paper, we introduced the overview and the basic function of the intelligent home at first, and then introduced several commonly used communication technology and other smart home related technology. By comparing, we decided to use GSM wireless communications technology for remote monitoring of smart home. The function of GSM module is to send and receive message and send data to MCU, then to set up user and a remote control system of direct communication. In the home, we used power line carrier wave technology and Lonworks technology to accomplish the communication between master module and slave module. Neuron chip has a CPU, so the slave module can easily handle the data collection and transmission. The master module uses MCU for controlling, include sending, receiveing, translating message, controlling slave modules. The system uses C programming language to accomplish the whole function.
