Design, Remote Monitoring System Based On The Gsm Short Message Home Facilities

In this paper, based on GSM short message, a remote & detecting system for smart home is developed, realizing the detecting of the home equipment and the state of home environment. In the design, AT89C51 micro-control system, wireless GSM short message modem and the power line carrier wave modem are used .The paper includes host control module and several sub function modules (window control module and an alarm module guarding against theft) and system software and so on.Wireless module transits SMS to user's mobile phone and receives SMS from user's mobile phone, so connecting with telecommunication function between user's mobile phone and micro-control system. And the communication between the host control and several sub function modules is realized through the power line carrier wave. The host module mainly fulfils the function of sending SMS and receiving SMS and interpreting SMS, and then controlling the sub modules. In the paper, the system software is finished using the assemble language, and the function of the system is realized.
