Design And Realization Of Information Resource Management System Of Press And Publication Bureau Based On SharePoint

Based on the design of Information Resource Management System of Press and Publication Bureau of Xiamen, this dissertation explores the design and implementation techniques for SharePoint-based Press and Publication Management System.The system is based on Microsoft Windows Server 2003, with SharePoint Server 2007 and Windows SharePoint Server 3.0 as application server, and Microsoft SQL Server2005 as database system. As a new type of server application, Office SharePoint Server 2007 can simplify coordination; provide the function of content management, process service procedures, and also access organizing target and processes. By using the functions like web template in Office SharePoint Server 2007, you can effectively and efficaciously set up a website which supports specific content distribution, content management, record management and business intelligence probably needed by the organization. According to the service requirement of Press and Publication Bureau and the above facts, the system is developed to sort all kinds of information in form of modules and to enable developers make use of the contents with more flexibility. Moreover, it provides various ways to ensure the smoothness and efficiency of the whole process from data creation, data modification to data distribution and content searching.This project aims at the realization of completely informationized network management for enterprises and institutions in information declaration annunciation, statistics declaration of units, governmental affairs resources and copyright information resources. Interactions with enterprises and institutions are carried out by way of electronic informationized management such as e-mail and short messages. Besides, it helps government departments to make best use of the information resources from these enterprises and institutions.
