Web Services is a newly developed technology that take SOA as its way for sofeware development, thus gain more and more enterprise's eyesights. It's the development direction of future. It publishes the information of web services to the third party where everyone can deploy these services as long as it accrords to certain principles. It greatly changes the way of traditional project management, not only improves the efficiency of project development, but also prompts the sharing and communication of the enterprises.Meanwhile, as being so hot of the mobile application, especially as the 3G period turns up, greatly enhances the development of mobile applications. J2ME, takes Java as its basis, takes much convenience for its transparency of both OS and platform. Also, the continous publishments of web services based on j2me greatly prompt the reseach on the platform.The thesis is mainly for the reseach for Web Services based on J2ME. First, we take a glance at Web Services and J2ME technology, and mainly for WS principles, architecture and some rules. Then we take into consideration of some crucial factors that affect services deployment. At last, we complish a factual project ruled by both the reseach principles and factual values. It's been proved that the technology which has been proved by both theory and fact , is smart, reusable and efficient.
