Design And Implementation Of Vehicle Monitoring System Based On GIS/GPS

Intelligent transportation system is the necessary way for the development of Modern transport. It is an integrated transport management system which effectively integrates advanced information technology, data communication transmission technology, electronic sensing technology, electronic control technology and computer processing techniques, etc., and can play all-round role with efficiency in large scale in real time.I studied some research in ITS during my internship, made some attempts In vehicle monitoring system design, and received some results.Vehicle monitoring system is carried out to adapt to the future of personalized transport services. During the work, through some survey research from application requirements reference to research status I analyzed the requirements and designed the overall structure of the vehicle monitoring system, then divided the system into function modules, finally designed and implemented the system, of course during the time I did some research in key issues and solved them.The major work and results achieved in this thesis as follows:1 I designed and implemented the vehicle monitoring system2 I solved the key issues, such as how to improve the system efficiency in under large amount data condition, what map matching algorithm we should use, etc..
