| As the developing of the city, the traffic system in big city is facing more and more pressure today. Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) plays an important role in urbanization, to solve the emergent problems in vehicle transportation. ITS involves information, data transmission, electrical sense, electrical control, computing technology etc. It is a transportation management system whose availability is timely, accurate and efficient in a large range. Along with the progress of economy, the aggravation of logistic transport and population flow, a convenient ITS is eagerly need in Shanghai. Our college took on the layout research project of Shanghai ITS information center, and has set up a primary model, vehicle dynamic monitoring/dispatching experimental system.Vehicle dynamic monitoring/dispatching experimental system is made up of three parts, monitoring platform, vehicle location and vehicle control. The research work of this thesis mainly focused on the realizations of the monitoring platform.
