Research And Implementation Of Colleges' Teaching Basic State Database System

With the rapid development of our country's economic and society, the number of colleges and enrollment are expanding. The quality of higher education has turned into the hot topic that gradually attracted the people's attention and discussion. In order to guarantee the quality of teaching with the enrollment expanding, our country must strengthen the monitoring and guidance on the teaching states of colleges.This paper presents the research and implementation of the teaching basic state database system of colleges, which based on .NET framework and was developed by B/S structure. The technologies have been used in this system mainly related to Decision Support. The system includes four subsystems in terms of index maintenance, data acquisition, decision support and information publishing subsystem. It will focus on a detailed exposition of index maintenance, data acquisition and decision support subsystem design and implementation.First, the index maintenance subsystem used for maintenance of basic assessment index and comprehensive assessment index. This paper introduced the existing evaluation index system of college teaching basic state, analysis its basic structure, proposed method that can be used to maintenance the level and including relationship between indexes, designed and implemented the index maintenance system in the end.Second, data acquisition subsystem including college basic information data acquisition and assess index data acquisition. This paper analysis focused on the type of assessment index data, designed the acquisition process of assessment index data, and implemented the data acquisition subsystem through the use of ActiveX and XML technology.Third, decision support subsystem includes trend analysis, OLAP analysis and cluster analysis. In this paper, the visualization of the results of data mining and OLAP operation process provides an effective assessment tool for teaching basic state assessment of colleges.
