The Design And Implementation Of Signaling Adapter Based On MAP Protocol

With the development of communication networks,users need communication network to provide basic call, in addition to other service. The traditional communication network has been unable to meet the needs of users, so intelligent network service as a value-added business has become an important channel to enhance operators'revenue. Intelligent network provides services for communication network at present and in the future, it provides some new business to meet users'need. In the communication system of intelligent network, business is completed by the transfer of signaling.Signaling is the exchange information between different devices in communication system.Signaling adapter used to process signaling. Signaling Adapter is the nervous system of communications network system, it is a very important component, it is between the mobile services switching center and service execution platform, under the service execute platform. An effective and stable signaling adapter can improve the efficiency of intelligent network. It is also providing a stable and reliable service for intelligent network, so it has strong value and significance to research.MAP protocol is an application protocol of SS7. It provides the ways of interconnection of public land mobile communications network functional entity and network. This thesis analyzes the structure of the MAP protocol, message, business and the content of the conveyed message from different links of MAP protocol in the mobile communication networks. At the same time, this thesis analyzes the functional requirements and the position of the signaling adapter, it is between the mobile service switching centre and service execution platform, it used to parse and transmit message. It receives messages from resource adapter and mobile service switching center, parsing message of resource adapter, sending message to resource adapter and mobile service switching center. Signaling adapter checks the situation of connect between the card and service execution platform, then report to the system. A signaling adapter connects with many service execution platforms. Signaling adapter used to process message receive, message send, message parse. To be able to process the message between service execution platform and card properly, improve the response capability and reliability of the system, improve the efficiency of network, so this system uses the thread pool and multithreading model. It uses a thread to process message send, message receive, message parse respectively, this thesis introduced the detailed design and realization of each thread and log module. Using a state machine to complete a service, receiving different kinds of message to change the state of state machine, so that the state machine can process the signal properly.
