Along with the development of modern software technology,Requirement Engineering has attracted more and more attention of People and Requirement Capturing as the most important part of Requirement Engineering was also developed rapidly during the time.Use Case and User interface prototyping are relatively popular techniques in Requirement Engineering.Yet,the transition from Use Case to the generation of UI Prototype is still ill-defined and essentially a manual and time-consuming task.In addition,these two techniques lack effective integration in the overall Requirement Engineering.The basic work of this paper is the deeply analysis of user interface requirement description and use case structure.In order to provide support to the user interface designer for developing user interface that meets users' requirements,we introduce the concept of Interaction Blocks that includes mechanisms for structuring the basic Use-Cases with regard to user-system interaction.After analyzing the internal logic of Interaction Blocks,we build the Interaction Process design model by using MVC pattern and extended UML Communication Diagrams and construct user interface hierarchical model based on them.Lastly,we set up the corresponding relationship between the elements of design model and Java GUI,and elaborate on the process of user interface prototype generation through an example.We mainly focus on the analysis and design of interactive process and the method to generate user interface prototype more effective.The main goal of our work is to generate user interface prototype from use case model in an automated or semi-automatic way,and by executing the user interface prototypes,we can validate and derive user requirements.We achieve the generation of user interface prototype in a senmi-automatic way following the method presented in the paper.The interaction process model built in this paper can provide a more effective way to generate UI from use case automatically.
