As the core technology of implementing CALS strategy, Interactive Electronic Technical Manual, IETM, plays more and more important role on improving the logistics guarantee level of weaponry system. The development of IETM, which is one of the most important parts of weaponry system, is paid more and more attention to. However, almost all the members in the development team are luck for adequate cognition in requirement analysis, especially in requirement analysis process.On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of IETM, the paper puts emphasis on building the requirement analysis process model for development of IETM in weaponry system, which includes such technologies as requirement capturing, requirement transition and so on. At the same time, the model above is applied to the development of IETM in NJ series fin in the last chapter. The main works and conclusions in this paper are as follows:Firstly, CALS strategy, which is mainly carried out by many countries and governments in recent years, is introduced. The nature and meaning of CALS strategy is also mentioned. Meanwhile, the author analyzes and explains Interactive Electronic Technical Manual, IETM, which is the core technology for carrying out CALS strategy. After analyzing the characteristics of IETM, the paper points out the requirement analysis process, which is one of the key elements of development IETM.Secondly, requirement analysis process model for development of IETM in weaponry system is established. According to the characteristics of IETM, the paper puts forward the model, which includes the ideology of both user driven and iteration, which are the effective measures of standardizing software development process and eluding the risk. The main processes of software requirements analysis include: requirement capturing based on the communion and participation of the important customers, rank of importance establishing by means of KANO model, and requirement transition based on the theory of quality function deploy, QFD.Finally, the model built above is applied to the development of IETM in NJ series fin. In the chapter, the characteristics of NJ series fin are introduced, the platform selection of product development is discussed and the real process model is established. After explaining the material collection and arrangement, the chapter points out the functional decomposition and design.
