Research On Injection Mold CAD/CAM Integration And Its Application Based On Pro/E

As the basic technical equipment of industrial production,mold is one of the basic industries of the national economy.Traditional injection mold design and manufacture mainly relies on designers' experience and staffs' skills.Only through mold testing can we know if the design is reasonable or not,and the correcting of manufacturing defects mainly depends on repeatedly repairing the mold.It's not only difficult to ensure the quality of the mold,but also makes long mold development cycle, unstable quality and high cost.The application of injection mold CAD/CAM integration technology can greatly improve the quality of plastic mold,shorten product development cycle,and reduce the cost of mold deign and manufacture.On the basis of introducing injection mold CAD/CAM integration technology and its superiority,the present situation of injection mold research at home and abroad,taking Pro/E software as the research and analysis platform,this paper conducts research on injection mold CAD/CAM integration and its application.Making the computer technology and modern manufacturing technology to infiltrate and combine with each other,and achieving the information modernization of mold industry.Combined with the present market situation of injection mold in china,researches advanced methods of mold design and manufacture integration which suit to the characteristics of Chinese enterprises by practice.Firstly,this paper conducts research on the overall framework of injection mold CAD/CAM,and discusses the general model of injection mold CAD/CAM system,the data management methods of injection mold CAD/CAM,injection mold CAD/CAM process based on Pro/E.Then this paper introduces injection mold CAD technology,and conducts research on related theories of injection mold design,and analyzes the mold CAD function of Pro/E software,taking the injection mold design of a claw plate as an example,researches the method and process of injection mold design based on Pro/E.And then this paper introduces injection mold CAD technology,elaborates basic theories of injection mold processing,and analyzes the mold CAM function of Pro/E software,taking the NC machining of the claw plate punch as an example, researches the method and process of injection mold NC machining simulation based on Pro/E.And more,this paper conducts research on related technologies of injection mold CAD/CAM integration based on Pro/E.The paper conducts research on application of parametric design technology in injection mold CAD/CAM,including Family Table,User Defined Feature and Pro/Program,and proves their practicality and superiority by example.After analyzing the CAE function of Pro/E analysis software Plastic Advisor,taking the mold flow analysis of the claw plate plastic parts as an example,researches the method and process of injection mold CAE based on Pro/E.Then the paper introduces standard mold base,and discusses the method of mold base selection,and researches mold base design technology based on EMX,makes injection mold CAD/CAM integration more powerful.Lastly,this paper is summarized,and the research results and conclusions are generalized.Moreover,this paper prospects the research and development trends of injection mold CAD/CAM,injection mold CAD/CAM will be developing towards the direction of integration, networking and intelligent.
