| The software Pro/E is widely used in mold industry in the world. The paper researches the technology of injection mold design based on Pro/E, after analyzing the recent application achievements of Pro/E, in order to shorten mold design time, improve the quality of mold design, lower the cost, and promote the width and depth of the application of CAD/CAM/CAE in mold design.Firstly, the paper raises the mold design solving plan based on Pro/E with the overall design scheme, after analyzing the requirements of injection mold design system. Secondly, the paper analyzes the main subjects on mold design, researches the critical technologies. Thirdly, the paper analyzes the importance of main contents of plan and configuration of the system, and elaborates on the configuring method. Fourthly, the paper elaborates on the critical technology of parametric design based on Pro/E and researches multiple particular applications in mold design. Finally, the paper illustrates briefly the design process of the mold design of LCD upper lidThe research results of the paper has gone into service in Changzhou Changfa group. The system runs reliably, and all indexes meet the requirements of the project informatization and standardization of injection mold design of the unit. |
