The Construction Of Social Software-based Informal Learning Environment Model

With the coming of Web2.0,we have got a vision and ideological system upgrade,the Internet system changes from top-down control by a handful of centralized control of resources into a bottom-up driven by the users of collective intelligence and strength of the lead.In this stage,the social software help people set up social networks and automatic organize groups.Cross-boundary nature of the Internet has brought a wide range of participants in social software.Informal learning as a supplementary learning approach provides a variety of study options.Technology supports for a variety of learning styles,such as,creating a collaborative space by remote,asynchronous communication tools,thus forming study networks,communities of practice to promote the learner learn form the expert.Also one can get help to find solutions through Google,the Internet,intranet and email.By the intranet,RSS,one can promote the spread of information.Finally blog can help learner promote reflection.Thus,informal study based on social software carried out gradually, such as Edu2Do and yeeyan.The development of informal learning can promote lifelong learning; improve the support of differences and autonomy in learning.In this article,by the permit of yeeyan's managers,and with their help,the author study yeeyan as the case.He has study the enviorment that informal learning happens in yeeyan,which includs:Social software-based informal learning activities,the inner and outer conditions' elements and relations of the elements,the strategies to promote social software based on informal learning. The author has done a questionnaire survey,and he has collected data about the participants' activity provided by the web to carry out quantitative analysis and qualitative research.He has also use Grounded theorytrategies to study the how the people join in group.At the same time,through reading,synthesis,analysis of existing relevant research results,the author have modified the existing model to form a workable Sociality-based software model of informal learning environments.he has choosed another two websites to test and verify the model he made.and he has gived three cagetages to those who want to make such an environment.The results of research will provide reference for setting up the informal learning environment and reduce blindness in construction.
