China’s 3G mobile communication network has been widely used, and 4G network began its commercial use in recent years as well as the technical conditions of the mobile Internet has been very mature. Up to 2010, mobile Internet users reached 303 million and China has become the world’s largest mobile Internet market with great market potential.Meanwhile, China’s smart phone market has developed rapidly in 2012 and the users number is expected to reach about 95 million as further reduce of the smart phones price.As the smart phone operating system data shows, Android, Symbian, Apple IOS operating systems are accounted for the current mainstream applications, and Android system which launched by Google has become the world’s largest smartphone platform in China as well as the rest of the world.Moreover, in terms of the building of a learning-based society, e-Learning has developed so widely and reached a new stage, and mobile learning has become a trend of e-Learning.A small team will be set up and I will be the team leader to complete requirement analysis, system design, program development and visual design. I will take the responsibility of system design and part of the program development to develop an Android system based mobile learning platform.So, it is very important and necessary to do some research on the application of Android system-based mobile learning platform.The goal of this research is to providing a innovative way of learning based on Android system. Teachers can manage/upload/the learning content and learning process by accessing the platform by Personal Computer. Students can install the client tools to connect to the learning platform to get convenient teaching and testing services. All the functions mentioned above is fundamental and specific functions of a platform should be based on accurate analysis and feasibility study to achieve the goal.
