| With the rapid development of China's economy,shipping has become an important part of integrated transport system,and is one of the main ways of the most important foreign trade.The importance of the shipping industry has become increasingly prominent.The ship management model of China's shipping companies faces the overall backwardness of the lower degree of information technology.As a result of large-scale shipping enterprises relatively has abundant capital and more standardized management,in the face of international competition they earlier use the information technology management,now will be in perfect stage of development. And as a result of the small scale shipping enterprises has less capital and diverse business processes,information management of small and medium-sized enterprises be in the building in its infancy,did not promote extensively and normally.The core of the management of ship maintenance and repair is the case,many of the management of ship maintenance and repair still keeps manual and data between ship and shore has not been able to transfer and sharing.Improve the efficiency of maintenance has become a cost-effective access and it will be crucial to protect the safety of the ship and improve operational efficiency,reduce operating costs,improve competitiveness of shipping small and medium-sized enterprises.In this paper,through field surveys of small and medium-sized shipping companies,to obtain all the basic situation of small and medium-sized shipping companies and understand their information on the maintenance management needs, extracting the basis of the basic business needs and processes,suitable for the majority of small and medium-sized shipping companies,and research the basic software architecture design,it based on the use of UML modeling language,based on the maintenance management to comply with the PMS maintenance norms and CWBT ship repair and maintenance system,emphasis on easy of use,reusability and scalability,to make it suitable for the development of general maintenance management information system software of small and medium-sized shipping enterprises.
