With digital process of television industry speeding up, as well as high-definition digital television in particular, the popularity of digital TV front-end processing equipment has become an integral part of television. Digital television front-end processing system as a key equipment, its function, cost, design flexibility is getting higher and higher requirements. The traditional separation design program can no longer meet the needs of the market.This article describes a system based on SOPC technology supporting the business of digital TV front-end program, and it is an integrated business process platform. At the same time, it uses Altera's SOPC technology to process the video data stream. This makes the package in achieving significant cost advantage has been achieved. Embedded inside the FPGA as a function of soft-core NiosII CPU, can solve, such as the traditional design: FPGA external pin is not enough , computting capacity is limited, external MCU makes circuit board crowded. In particular its self-defined instructions and peripheral functions, greatly improves the data flow for encryption and the speed of check processing.The experimental results show that this design has had the basic function that deals with the digital television program. Digital television transmission stream analyzer shows that the treatment program stream has been in line with the DVB standards.because of the cost advantages this design will soon be real product.
