Rotating torque is an important working parameters of rotating power machinery, torque measurement is one of the important contents in transmission line, through the torque analysis, the performance parameters of the entire transmission system can be obtained.Mechanical torque measurement is more complex than other measurements, is a relatively weak link. At present, the comparative universal of the torque sensor is contact-type measurement,using strain gauges affixed to axis, but the measurement axis by the material, shape, etc. a greater impact, but also faced with a complex problem wound. The non-contact measurement methods include two categories: magnetic-electric, photoelectric. As the magnetic field, the interference temperature in magnetic-electric measurements,the measurement accuracy will be affected. so the search for photoelectric measurement methods is very important. Torque sensor for existing shortcomings, along with the rapid development of optical technology.The subject studies the principle of photoelectric torque sensor, proposes a non-contact torque sensors by combining photovoltaic technology.Select two cross-sections of a certain distance on the measured shaft as measurement objects, by measuring the two-section relative twist angle to obtain the value of shaft torque indirectly. The subject uses a Ooptical Pickup as the main optical component,designs laser receiver circuit to obtain signal which includes the relative twist angle information, then,LabVIEW program to solve the follow-up work.In order to improve the measurement accuracy, the subject use laser to lithography two-section stripes and signal processing part in the follow-up, design the solver procedures of whole multiples stripes and non-integer multiples of stripes, Stripe between the two parts will be further broken down, enhance greatly the measurement accuracy.The subject carries out a tested study on the prototype studies of photoelectric torque sensor,the use of such non-contact measurement method can achieve static measurements, dynamic measurements can be achieved also. Combination of the LabVIEW virtual instrument software platform for the follow-up the processing of signals, but also greatly save development time sensors,makes optical, mechanical, and other virtual instrument combines clever.
