In mechanical engineering,torque as an important parameter reflects the performance of the transmission system.Torque measurement is also a key technology in the testing,research and development,quality and safety of all kinds of mechanical equipment.So,highprecision torque measurement is of great significance to mechanical engineering.In order to realize high precision torque measurement,a new design of optical fiber torque measurement system was presented in this paper.Based on the physical relationship between torsion angle and torque,this paper uses a torsion angle torque measurement method.A new kind of torque sensor structure is designed based on the stress-strain effect of fiber phase and the principle of fiber phase modulation to measure the torque.Firstly,the mathematical analytical relationship between torque and phase change is established,so that the torque can be inversed according to the phase information.Secondly,in order to further improve the measurement accuracy,the initial structure design of wheel and spoke type is adopted.The phase difference between the optical fiber measured at the fixed beam and the transmission beam is measured.Shaker-Hartmann wavefront detection technology is used for information processing,so as to realize the measurement of torque.Thirdly,the finite element static analysis method is used to analyze the designed structure and obtain the deformation of the structure,so as to give the specific mathematical model between torque and phase.By means of thermodynamic analysis,the relationship between temperature and deformation is obtained,and the theoretical basis of temperature compensation is established.Through modal analysis,the natural frequency of the structure is calculated and the reliability of the structure is verified.Finally,the experimental system of torque sensing was built,and multiple torque measurement experiments were conducted,and multiple groups of experimental results were obtained.And the experimental results were sorted out and the errors were analyzed.The results verify the feasibility and reliability of the torque measurement system,which can realize high precision measurement of torque.
