Blog has developed into such a potential power with Chinese characteristics and definited its far-reaching influence on international net citizens and society that all the phenomena have fallen into the academic research field which should not be ignored.The article focuses on the topics below: in contrast with global blog's development, the fundamental reforming route is identical with international trend on the whole while its name, classification and popularized platform transformed from alienation to return. The theoretical research on Chinese blog is also identical with its practical development on the whole while the overall standard of research is not so optimistic, the representative achievements and figures are not so prosperous, the perspectives is not so wide and the method is not so diversified. The private blog is widely used but rarely researched, the female blog promotes the popularization of Chinese blog, and the news blog creates the grassroots journalism by the people, on the people and for the people. Blog speeds up the coming of "We Media" times, the gathering and dividing effect, a new communication way and a new communication ecology. That is to say, it is the blog who renews the history of communication. Finally, the article criticizes the hot-spots such as anti-patent, commercialization, real-name policy, etc. The characteristics of active blogs are also discussed from psychological view.
