The Present Condition And Developing Strategies Of Chinese Blog Under The Background Of Global Communication

The technology of communication shortened the process of global communication and created the new media monopoly. On one hand, it centered 'American culture', on the other hand, it made some chances for the developing countries to create miracles.In 21^st century, to develop a mutil-cultural circumstance is the basic purchase for the whole world. To build a 'harmonious world' is an ideal ambit in the process of globalization. People believe that communication is the best way to make a harmonious and peaceful world.Under the circumstance of global communication, 'soft power' has been greatly emphasized, the best media may be network. The newborn publishing world of web logs seems to be having a significant impact on digital culture, communication, education, and image-building. The best proof of impact at the moment is the proliferation of Election and Political Blogs that have sprung up around presidential candidates, parties, and news agencies of western world.The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing, which will be a good chance to change Chinese prejudiced image as a stiff country in west world. As a we-media, Chinese blog and bloggers have the responsibility to show the world a true China.This dissertation is to reveal the basic characteristics of blog firstly and then introduce some examples of blogging in global communication. On the base of analysis of above, it tries to give my understanding of how to develop Chinese blog and the significance in building the new frame of global communication.
