With the breathable film market continues to develop, its production equipment now growing demand for the kinds of domestic equipment has become increasingly urgent.This paper presents the design and development process of the control system of breathable film production line. The control system is based on PLC control ,top-monitoring technology, and frequency inverter technology. Then this paper compared ordinary PID with fuzzy PID control strategy in the experiment of the Tension control system, and discussed the advantages and disadvantages of the two control strategies. The experiment proved the applicability of the Fuzzy PID control strategy on the system composition of PLC and frequency inverter.This paper is divided into six chapters.Chapter 1,it described the integrated mechanical structure of the breathable film production line, the paper presents the status quo and development of the tension control system, and the common control strategies. Finally pointed out the main subject of the research direction and content.Chapter 2, it described the control system's overall design of the production line in detail. First introduced the control technologies involved in the control system. and designed the stretch control system, tension control system, temperature control system. Finally, selected the major components and designed the main power supply circuits, and installed the control equipment.Chapter 3, it described the hardware framework in detail, and programmed the PLC, frequency inverter and HMI program in the preparation, the principal tasks include: system logic control procedures, extruder temperature control procedures, speed control procedures, tension control program, HMI monitoring procedures. Finally, the paper achieved the experiment of the PID tension control system.Chapter 4, the paper described the analysis of the reasons for tension fluctuation, and designed a fuzzy PID controller for dancer tension control system.Chapter 5, based on the platform composed of PLC and frequency inverter, the paper achieved the experiment of fuzzy PID tension control system. At the same time, based on the results of fuzzy PID experiment, the paper compared the fuzzy PID and general PID control strategies. Finally, the paper proved the fuzzy PID control can greatly improve the performance of tension control system.Chapter 6, we summed up the contents of this paper, this work involved in the project, and issues of the need for further research, the improve of the study.
