The Design For Gas Analyzer Based On CAN Field Bus

In hermetic entironment, the gas component has an important effect to health and safety of human. Therefore it is necessarily to detect and control the gas component. With improving of automation, the requirement to intelligent detection becomes urgent. At the same time, the requirement for centralized detection of environment is urgent. To conform these requirements, we design a type of gas analyzer, but also has the function of communication.The Controller Area Network(CAN) is a serial communications protocol which efficiently supports distributed realtime control with a very high level of security. Its domain of application ranges from high speed networks to low cost multiplex wiring. It simply introduces the development condition and the essential principium of CAN.The paper illustrates the whole research process of based on CAN bus intelligent gas analyzer. We design a frame of intelligent gas analyzer. Also, the paper dissert the whole scheme and device selection of the instrument in detail. At the same time, it introduces the constitution and principle of the CAN communication. It also introduce the constitution of microcomputer ADμC812 and CAN controller SJA1000 which the gas analyzer based on. A part of circuit diagrams,software flow chart and program code are provided by author. In the end, the simple test is executed to the part of the CAN communication by using the testing instrument.
