Biochemical analyzer is a kind of special analytical instrument used to detect the biochemical parameters in body fluids, such as blood and urine. With the development of science and technology development and the implementation of national medical grade system, ther features of intelligent, standardized and low price have become the main trend of the current development in biochemical analyzer. Therefore, research and development of a automatic biochemical analyzer with the advantage of fully functional, stable performance and low price, and design a stable and reliable control system, has an important market prospects and practical significance.This paper discusses the domestic and foreign development status for biochemical analyzer and analyzes the shortcomings of the control system design and other aspects in the domestic biochemical analysis equipment. For example, the mainstream domestic biochemical analyzers are adopted the single stage control architecture whit ARM and driving circuit, this architecture exist the insufficient of poor real-time performance and low reliability, which will emergence of the faults of "overtime", "crash" and other failures in the practical use.For the above control architecture has the disadvantages of low reliability, two level control system is put forward which is suitable for biochemical analyzer, the lower control system use P89V51 MCU as controller which adopt Keil uVision 4 as the software development tool and C as development language, eventually formed a control system of multi machine communication and parallel control by principal and subordinate, the main MCU is responsible for receiving PC sends the instruction and analysis, and communicate with 5 sub MCU by internal serial port expansion of CPLD, which will complete the control function of analysis and data acquisition, processing, fault monitoring. Upper control system use monitor PC as the core, taking Windows 7 as the host computer software operation platform and selecting visual studio 2010 development environment and SQL Sever 2008 database to design a user operation software with stable operation and perfect function, which will achieve the management work of visual man-machine interface and data storage, display, report printing, etc. Two level control system can realize the separation of biochemical instrument management and control function, and the two independent work and non influence, thus ensuring the reliability and stability of the whole machine.The main research results of this paper is: through the study of different control system design in biochemical analyzer, a two stage control system is put forward, which can achieve the separation of management and control function for the whole system and improve the stability and reliability of the instrument. The instrument has been registered by the medical equipment inspection institute of Jiangsu Province and obtain the corresponding proof of market access. In addition, the design of liquid level detection circuit has been a utility model patent authorization and published 1 related academic papers.
