Image capture system, which plays an important role in digital image processing, converts the analog signals come from camera to digital signals, or captures the digital signals from digital camera directly, then transmits these signals to PC by high speed computer bus. It is very convenience to be analysed and processed by PC powerful calculate, process, storage capability. This system is friendly, flexible and transplantable. As requirement of high speed transmit, PCI bus is so popular because of high speed and low power consume. Aimed at the development trend of the PCI interface, it described the principle of initiator mode and interrupt of PCI9054. The conversion of FPGA interface to PCI9054 local interface is realized by the programmable logic chip. The thesis detailed analyzed the logic design of all function blocks in the FPGA and given exactly simulation results for each block. In other chapters, the thesis also detailed introduced the hardware circuit design, parallel interface design, PCI interface design, control software design, and the way of using SignalTapII embedded logic analyzer in the process of systematic debugging. It has given analysis and discussion to the systematic simulation results and test results. Besides, the thesis also enclosed the PCB diagram of the system, the logic schematic diagram of the FPGA and some relevant program lists with detailed annotation. With WinDriver as the developing tool, at windowsXP systems, it develops the driver of equipment, completing the function of initiator mode and interrupt.
