In recent decades, the noise and vibration reduction of underwater structures has been the focus of hydroacoustic engineering study and various means of noise and vibration reduction have been emerging one after another. Therefore, how to develop advanced measurement devices to measure the vibration and radiation noise of the underwater structures and further evaluate the effects of those means of noise and vibration reduction for the purpose of guiding the follow-up design improvement has become a central issue of study of all major navies in the world.Network data collection technology is a branch of sensor network technology and is characterized by such outstanding advantages as high transmission rate, ease of routing and good expansibility, so it is suitable for establishing muilti-point noise monitoring platform.The paper studies the principle of network data collection and analyzes the prerequisites for establishing muilti-point noise measurement platform. A data collection hardware platform is designed with embedded processors of low power consumption, Ethernet interface, large-capacity data memory and realtime clock as the key parts. The debugging of the platform has already been completed.On the above basis, associated software for multi-point data collection system has been developed to achieve the functions of realtime data collection, network data transmission and local storage.Test result of the system shows the network data collection system can effectively accomplish the task of muilti-point noise measurement.
