Along with the development of the digital technology, the demand of the devices, which are used to input graphics and pictures, is increasing in the home and aboard, among which the big breadth engineering scanner is mainly used to make some special fields (military affairs, mapping, architecture, etc) digital. With the characteristic of faster scanning and high precision, the big breadth engineering multi-CCD scanner is widely accepted by customers.The paper mainly introduces the designing process of data acquisition system of the big breadth engineering multi-CCD scanner. Firstly, after analyzing the defects of present data acquisition system of the big breadth engineering scanner, a new method, which is multi-level multi-channel data acquisition system based on embedded Linux, is proposed to improve the data acquisition system. Secondly, after discussing the characteristic and key technology of designing data acquisition system, the corresponding solutions are proponed. Finally, the process of designing data acquisition system of the big breadth engineering multi-CCD scanner is presented, including porting of embedded Linux, USB device driver design, communication of real-time network, etc. |
