The onboard integrated information system is important as the revolutionof automobile technique. In the system, we use the digital signal on measurement and controlling compared to the conventional analog digital. Therefore, it brings the modernization of the automatic equipments to a new top.The onboard integrated information system is the functionality enlargement of the conventional instrument system. The conventional mechanical instruments have a lot of weakness, such as they cover immovable space, the display accuracy is low, they are unreadable, they have bad augmentability and efficiency. As a result, to instead of the conventional mechanical instruments use digital virtual instruments is an important subject of vehicle automatization.The virtual instrument technique is an important application of the virtual technique, and it is the profound combination of the modern computer technique and the instrument technique, an important technique in the measurement field. It breaks through the concept of the conventional instrument and causes basically change on the configuration and the design of the instrument, which is called'The software is the instrument'.Component-based Virtual Test Software is a brand new subject, which is accordant to the trend of software industry. Applying component technology for software engineering, designing and completing common virtual instrument according to component technology, which are the most important aspects in this paper. The designing and completing of the components are discussed in detail. The necessary and feasibility of applying component technology are expatiated, and the attributes and the functions of the objects that consist of the components are confirmed. According to the re-usability of the component, the efficiency of the development is improved, and the life of the software is prolonged. The system have advantages such as friendly interface, conveniently in using, steady performance, and the anticipative design aim is achievedIn the paper, I build the onboard integrated information system for the mobile by the Visual C++ of America Microsoft. It's a virtual instrument system. With the computer as its core, the system could acquire various information of the vehicle, such as the the vehicle velocity. At the same time, the system has the ability to process, to display and to warn in the abnormal situation. Therefore, the driver could react correctly according; to the alarm, which makes the vehicle could always run in a safe condition. Because the information capacity is very large, it is displayed to different interfaces which can be easily switched on the touch screen. The system have advantages such as friendly interface, conveniently in using, steady performance, and the anticipative design aim is achieved.The integrated display system of automotive information can provided all kinds of information more accurately in time. Drivers are easy to obtain information and control automobiles. This research should reflect the development trend of electronic instrument of passenger cars.
