With the development of the communication technology, the wireless network is applied in the data transmission of the industry more and more. In order to make the remote transmission more flexible and convenient, in this paper, GPRS technology has been selected to transmit the remote data. There has the advantage of wide coverage, always online characteristics on GPRS technology. The remote data communication system based on GPRS composed of the data center and the transmission terminal, which are connected through the Internet and GPRS network. Taking the client/server model and the connection serve as a whole is to carry out network transmission.Hydrological Information System is an integrated information system by the hydrological information collection, analysis, and services. This paper introduces a kind of new-type wireless automatic hydrology and monitors network. Weakness of the respect of gathering and transmitting that this network breaks through the network information of traditional automatic hydrology, combine the wireless mobile transition and Internet technology, use GPRS data terminal to realize the auto and wireless that hydrology monitors.Introducing every component of The hydrology telemetric system at first in the article, compare with the transmission means of traditional water level information afterwards, Introduces the relevant technology of GPRS system and network model and analyses to the communication agreement of GPRS, proposing utilizing GPRS wireless mobile network to carry on the transmission of the water level data application appraisal on been analyzed. Hydrological Network Information System using the mode integrating Client/Server and Browser/Server is brought forward. And then, we run a series of test about function, Performance and useableness to prove that the system achieved originally requirement of design. Providing the result in practical objective and overall system in the end of the article, to improve and put forward the suggestion further.
