Modeling And Information Transfer For An Automotive Electronics Hardware-in-loop Simulation System

Hardware-in-loop(HIL) simulation is the technology that embeds the hardware to simulation software through using computer I/O.It has the effectiveness of computer simulation and the accuracy of test.And it could be widely used in product design and teaching experiment.Using HIL can reduce the time and cost in research on automotive electronic,and makes the research safe,controllable,and unaffected by the environmental condition.Based on Jetta AT Sedan,the paper makes hardware-in-loop simulation for ABS, AT and engine electronic control system,aiming to build Hardware-in-loop simulation system for automotive electronic system.Based on the control logic and the control algorithm of ABS,automatic gear shift system and engine electronic control system,the paper builds the simulation models of automotive electronic system with Matlab/Simulink software.Though Bluetooth.S function programmed by C language and serial port function supplied by Matlab,the simulation models could communicate with hardware platform made by ourselves,which builds the software platform of the hardware-in-loop simulation system.And the user-friendly interface is built with GUI of Matlab which could make the teaching experiment finished conveniently.In the simulation process,the system parameters and control logic could be modified, and different road conditions could be imitated.The test results indicate that simulation models and control logic are appropriate.And because of user-friendly interface,students could watch the working principle and process of automotive electronic system intuitively, which could strengthen the meaning of theories.So the Hardware-in-loop simulation system for automotive electronic system built by us achieves the goal.
