China Railway High-speed 3(CRH3) train is the most advanced train in china at present. In China, the research on CRH3 high speed train is currently in the stage of digesting introduced technology, it helps to accelerate the domestication of CRH3 train and improve China's high speed train technology. The core technology of CRH3 train, Train Communication Network (TCN), is designed specially for railway applications and is a prevailing train communication network worldwide at present. Researching TCN aids in promoting the development and innovation of train communication network technology in China. Therefore, it is significant to research CRH3 train and TCN technology.In order to research CRH3 high speed train and TCN technology, this paper based on the application status of China's high speed train technology and train communication network, delved into the technology characteristic of CRH3 train and TCN, proposed the hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform design scheme of CRH3 high speed train control system on the basis of TCN. The platform is made up of TCN, emulated control unit and controlled system, designed based on the general principle of authenticity and expandability. The purpose of this research is to establish a TCN based simulation platform framework which is able to reflect the real operation of CRH3 high speed train, realize the driver's cab console subsystem-the core of the platform and the door control subsystem which has complicated control logic. In the meantime, make sure the platform has good expandability in order to add other subsystems later on, and finally to establish an effective high speed train communication network system equipment performance evaluation and identification platform.This research ultimately established the hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform mentioned above, realized the driver's cab control system and door control system. After systems joint debugging, the platform succeeded in achieving designed functions, got good simulation experiment effect. The platform with authenticity and expandability runs stably, satisfies the need of research and experiment.
