Design And Application Of OA System Based On Customization-Supporting Workflow

With the development of economy, the requirement of enterprise management increasing rapidly, OA system has become one of the means of improving informationization and implementing efficient management. Workflow based OA system could significantly improve the efficiency of the cooperative, promote the optimization of enterprise organizational structure, and improve the management level. Thus, workflow technology has become one of the basic technologies of modern OA system. In order to adapt to the frequent changes of modern enterprise business processes, workflow based OA system has begun changing from the initial fixed flow pattern to customization-supporting flow pattern. OA System based on customization-supporting workflow turned into the mainstream.Existing implementation plans of OA system based on customization-supporting workflow have many disadvantages: high development costs or difficult to design or low flexibility or complex to develop. In order to survive and develop themselves in the competitive environment, SMEs need OA system which is simple to develop , inexpensive, flexible and scalable, thus , this paper presents an implementation plan of OA system based on customization-supporting workflow for SMEs.According to analysis of existing implementation plans, and combining the needs of SMEs, confirmed the implementation plan of this paper: adopt the structural design of WfMC standard model to ensure scalability, and do rational predigestion to lower the difficulty of development, choose powerful and low price technologies as realization platform to ensure the realization of its functions and to reduce development costs. This paper has designed a workflow definition language, which references to WfMC workflow process definition element model and does a reasonable simplification. The language use XML as a carrier, has a simple structure, easy to use, easy to expand, and can describe various types of workflow. Refer to WfMC's WfMS Reference Model, analyze the structure of WfMS and the theory of its implementation, this paper designed and implemented a WfMS. This system can achieve the management and monitor of workflow, control the circulation of work processes as well as interact with external interfaces.The system accords to WfMC standard model, possesses good scalability, simplified structure reduce the difficult of development, adapt the low-cost and stable platform of J2EE with a variety of free open source software resources ensuring the system's low price and stability. Finally, take a typical office processes for example, describes the method of descripting the process in the process definition language of this paper and the method of developing business logic coordinating with the WfMS and demonstrates the system running results. The results prove that the process definition language and WfMS designed correct and effective.
