With regard to the requirements of the telecommunications business has been gradually from voice services to data, text, images, and other non- voice business areas of the development so that the bandwidth of the communications increasingly high demands, in mass communications backbone network to increase capacity at the same time, access part has become bandwidth bottlenecks to hinder bandwidth increase. with the increasingly widespread application of EPON networks,in order to improve service quality of EPON networks, guarantee stable, efficient and accurate operation of EPON networks, it is particularly important to provide a standardized and effective network management system.This thesis is based on"EPON Network Element Management System of Qingtian Information Company". First it briefly analyzes Network Element Management System of domestic and international developments and then generally introduces the application of key technologies in the system.This system bases on SNMP, currently only managemes FiberLink C1000 of Wuhan Optical Communications Network company,so the paper describes then private MIB of the managed equipment in detail. Because the system design objectives for the telecommunications EPON Network, in order to satisfy the business continued to grow and implement Network management of the dynamic expansion,the paper outlines the the application of the XML technology, and lightweight J2EE framework.The design of configuration subsystem is based on the architecture of QTI - PON manager system. The target of our Network Element Management System is from a single integrated management equipment to management development,therefore the feature of the configuration subsystem is that it has the custom function based on XML tecnology. configuration subsystem is a typical module which has closely links to the graphical user interface. Therefore, the client of configuration subsystem using MVC model, thereby reducing the link between interface shows and control,reducing the interaction between business data change and show change. The server of configuration subsystem is to achieve specific business, an is mainly responsible for operating database and operating equipment MIB. Client and server communication is based on the the RMI and dynamic agent provided by system framework. The database part uses spring + hibernate solution.The configuration subsystem calls the collector part through the JMS provided by the system framework, according to the different collection request the collector part uses the different private acquisition mode. In this paper, the configuration subsystem design and the functional realization is analyzed in a detail, the system results is demonstrated in a real network environment.The paper also analyzes the advantages of the configuration management subsystem,finally, the paper analyzes the existence of the problem of system,and rises the preliminary solutins to the problem.
