This article advances a new method through analyzing the braking system of the hoist system and the existed methods of testing parameters. This method can be used to test the parameters of braking system by means of turning of power, applying the brake, detecting the distance and the hodograph of run after it, and basing on the effect of applying the brake. The parameters can be tested and displayed by using the system consisting of LPC2210 produced by Philips Company.In the thesis, it is discussed detailedly that the process designing the Hoist Brake Parameter Tester based on LPC2210 andμC/OS-II.First, the article introduces the method to test the equivalent mass, the static moment of resistance, and the braking deceleration of the brake system and to examine the speed and the force of the hoisting system. According to the detecting method measuring velocity after make brake work and stop electicity, the way of mensurating the parameters such as the brake torque, the time of idle motion, the brake distance and so on can be obtained.Second, the tester's modules are designed, including memory module, NAND FLASH module, LCD/touch pad module, rotate speed-mensurating module and so on. Moreover timer/ counter for mensurating velocity and distance are analyzed mostly.μC/OS-II that succeed in industry area is transplanted, because the software designing work is so much, some files for transplating are modified.Last, the tester's software is programmed and all of the tester's operating functions are come true. We creat some tasks, such as mensurating velocity task, mensurating the brake torque task, mensurating time of idle motion task and mensurating rotate speed task.In the process of developing software, graphic user interface miniGUI is used to fulfill the display function. The tester can display hoist velocity diagram, characters and parameters, etc.
