Separation technology that often used in industrial and agricultural production, it can be divided into two different way dry and wet that each of them have different characteristics, In this paper presents a new dry separation equipment model through practical observation and analysis, That not only maintaining the characteristics of the original equipment but also expanding the scope of use and the effect of separation. Although the separator is equipment that wide used in machinery, but it is not only a time and process complexity but also high cost that uses traditional way to design separation, the difficult issues such as performance testing. In this paper use the virtual prototyping technology proposed by the separation Model was developed and completed the following studies:(1) The basic feature of virtual prototype technology is introduced, major contents and difficulties are pointed out in the paper. Author sums up the present research situation of virtual Prototyping technology at home and abroad and proves the necessity and significance of applying virtualPrototyping technology to research of separation.(2) According to the theories of modeling and simulation, the mathematical models of the working mechanism and hydraulic system of the separation are built and the foundation of simulation research of virtual separation prototype is established.(3) The 3D modeling method of separation using Pro/E software is researched, the technology on modeling and virtual assembly is sums up, the 3D model is built and interferential test of assembly in Pro/E environment is completed.(4) Detailed analysis the methods and steps on how to use MECH/Pro establishment and conversion the three-dimensional model,it have some guiding significance to design and learning the three-dimensional model.(5) Study the interface technology of Pro/E and ADAMS, constructed separating machine for virtual prototyping and simulation in ADAMS and have been got some of the curve under the load.
