The Design And Application Of A Kind Of Numerical Control System Based On DMC

In the present society, manufacturing enterprise is facing the brutal competition of high quality and low cost. In that case, more and more firms upgrade production equipment by rebuilding numerical control system. As the product-specific of mass customization, the special machine tool is more economical than expensive machining centers. Consequently, it is necessary to improve the old equipment. In this dissertation, old machine tool for textile machining is improved. Based on host PC, the open architecture numerical control system are as follows: hardware part and software part.In the design of the hardware part, suitable type devices are selected by understanding structure principle of devices in the system. And the hardware of NC system is designed. Controlled objects of system structure are as follows: spindle motor, motor for servo feeding system and motor for rotary tool. The function of four axes coordinated is realized by host PC, DMC controller, servo motor and so on. In the implement hardware circuit, signal transmission between digital motion controller and servo system is completed by the interlinkage configuration.In the design of the software part, based on development environment of Visual Basic6.0, software of NC system was designed by API function. The system is divided into three function modules: setting module, editing module and conversion module. Among them, conversion module of international standard NC code is divided into four small modules: compiler of G00 command, compiler of G01 command, compiler of G02 command and compiler of G03 command. In order to perfect software system function, this article provides many auxiliary functions, such as manual operation, motion information display, emergency shutdown and so on.At present, the open NC system has been put in the production. And a good practical efficiency is obtained. In addition, it is enable the system to be re-developed. As a result, NC system can be responsive to the market quickly and economically. And it is can be widely used in the future.
