The motion control is an important part of automation. With the NC productsbecomes a focus of domestic market in recent years, the inefficiency of functions andperformance in the existing products are gradually exposed, which directly impact theperformance for the overall system. Market research found that the main problem isthe low of real-time under the high-speed motion in Windows platform and not fit fordomestic users’ habits.Therefore, this article addresses on the basis of existing motion control card, andimprovement over issues raised by users. Improvements includes: solving theproblem of the next value cannot be written to hardware and output pulse in timewhen using the function of counter compare continuously; solving the problem of thelatch data cannot be obtain in time when using latch function; solving the problem ofthe motion cannot be continuous when running short line segments motion insculpture processing. In addition, improving the inefficiency of existing driver API,providing a function to save and restore card settings, providing automatic triangledrive elimination, obtaining high-precision motion data, and providing a new demoapplication.The improvements fall into two parts. One is offer optimization plan in the driverlayer in case of no change to the hardware. Second is offer high efficiency solutioncombined with new hardware.Eventually, the new drivers and applications are designed and developedaccording to the domestic users’ habits and solve the users need. The functions andefficiency achieved the expected design goals.
