Today's numerical control technology and robot technology are developing in the direction of high precision,high speed and more flexibility.The traditional motion controller with single chip or PLC as the core can not meet the needs of high-precision industry,and based on PCI bus control.The new open motion controller with DSP and FPGA as the core processor has gradually become the mainstream in the market.The control mode of PC+ motion controller is also widely used in the manufacturing of various industries.Based on the LabVIEW platform,this paper studies the implementation of the control method of ADLINK's PCI-8258 motion control card.The main research work of this paper includes the following aspects:(1)Hardware system construction.It mainly includes the overall design of hardware circuit;the selection of main functional components such as motion control card,motor,lead screw,sensor and data acquisition card;communication circuit design of terminal board and servo driver and partial interface circuit design.(2)Software system design.By calling the dynamic link library provided by ADLINK on the LabVIEW platform,the main function module and human-computer interaction interface are designed.The function module includes the motion control card and the initialization module of the four-axis I/O port;the single-axis motion control module;Multi-axis motion control module;motion state monitoring module;emergency braking module.human-computer interaction interface design uses tab control,which makes the functions of each module easy to distinguish and easy to develop a simple and beautiful system interface.(3)Test the designed control system software on the built hardware system.It mainly includes the mechanical error test of lead screw;the effective stroke test of lead screw;the zero return test of positive and negative limit positi ons and the test of fixed point displacement test.The experimental results show that the mechanical error of the lead screw is less than or equal to 0.4mm,the stroke error of the lead screw is less than or equal to 0.4mm,the zero return error less than or equal to 0.4mm,and the fixed point displacement error is less than or equal to 0.4mm.The research work done in this paper has a reference function for the intelligent realization of multi-axis mechanical equipment.
