Software radio technology was the realization of a new radio communications system structure in recent years. It is the third revolution in the field of wireless communications following from analog communications to digital communications, from fixed communications to the mobile communications. It is based on the characteristics of a unified, open and easily expanded hardware platform, and to define and achieve the radio function using software. The technology has some advantages, such as wide used, better portability and better adaptability. Software Radio has become the key of the third generation mobile communication systems(3G), and the future direction of development of radio communications.This paper researches the most Software Radio structure ,namely, switched network structure in the 863 Software Defined Radio project. It gives an improved switched network structure—compound switched network structure, which has better capabilities of real time and floating point operation. The paper has introduced parallel processing technology, the categories and architecture of network parallel machine,network parallel arithmetic and arithmetic performance criterion. It has analysed TCP/IP protocol and necessary predigestion has been used in the system. Finally, the paper deigned the adapter hardware module , and communication between adapter module and a higher level module structures. It introduces debug methods and debug results.
